PICO enLighten features extremely short and high-power picosecond laser pulses which efficiently and quickly break down the ink particles in tattoos.
enLighten uses a picosecond pulse which essentially creates a vibration effect in the skin, which then disrupts the pigment and gets taken by your body’s lymphatic system.
As enlighten uses both picosecond and nanosecond technology it is able to treat tattoos by breaking up different types of tattoo inks and different colours of ink. Because each pulse is so short there is no damage to the skin or surrounding tissue.
The system is able to independently adjust spot size and fluence in real-time calibration without delay. It is able to treat a broad range of spot sizes (2-8mm) and is achieving results not seen before by any tattoo removal method.
